Our namesake, Mount Difficulty, is Bannockburn’s highest peak and the backdrop to our vineyards - some of Bannockburn’s oldest.
Wine
Part of our uniqueness stems from this namesake mountain, under which a particular microclimate can be found. This area is at the southern end of the Cromwell Basin, has a narrow range of heat stimulation, large diurnal shifts, and long, cool, dry Autumns. It is because of this our wines show a reflection of place.
Ethical viticulture and minimal intervention produces wines that express our personality and reflect our home.
