Crafted by Mt Difficulty, Roaring Meg wines are a contemporary collection of fruit forward, expressive Central Otago wines that capture the attitude and style of the region.

The colourful story of Roaring Meg comes from Central Otago's pioneering past. Discovery of gold in the 1860's attracted many young men to Central Otago in search of fortune and a number of enterprising young women equally keen to share in the spoils. Meg, one such high spirited lady, made such a fuss while being carried over a rapid, it was named after her.
