Visit us at the home of Mt Difficulty for wine tastings, exquisite food, and stunning views. We are open from Wednesday to Sunday from 10.30am until 4.30pm for wine tasting, with our main menu available until 4.00pm. Please note we are closed on public holidays and 24 December.

On fine days we offer outdoor seating on the terrace, please call the restaurant directly on the day to request terrace seating.

Mt Difficulty Winery is a 45 minute drive from Queenstown and Wanaka, or 30 minutes from Alexandra.
Driving from Cromwell: Drive through Cromwell on Barry Avenue which becomes Bannockburn Road at the industrial area. Travel four kilometres to the Bannockburn bridge.
Driving from Queenstown: Turn right off SH6 into Pearson Road as you emerge from the Kawarau Gorge. Travel three kilometres and turn right onto Bannockburn Road before crossing the river. Once you have crossed the Bannockburn bridge drive up the hill and turn right into Felton Road.
